Good shoe with comfortable medium support. Easy to clean. Great for everyday wear. I usually have 3 pairs on hand that I rotate to maintain consistent support for my feet. I wear them most of the time, because I can't find good looking comfortable business-casual- dress shoes that I like. So I wear these. They are sort of my attire trademark now. I added satin-lace shoe strings and even worn them with my wedding grown.
I recently bought this shoe for my mother. I knew she wore an 8.5 and that the wide shoes at the dept. stores were never wide enough. Therefore, her feet always bother her. I took a chance ordering online and went with an 8.5 EE. As soon as they came I had her try them and she was so thrilled that they fit in length and width not to mention comfortable right away that she ordered her husband two new pairs of shoes that very day. I bought these shoes for an aunt with large narrow feet (13N). She stands most of the day on concrete floors and her feet has a tendency to swell. She said when she wore them for the first time she took other shoes with her in case these might hurt. But to her surprise she kept them on all day and absolutely loves them.
The shoe is wonderful at first but with continued use over the day, the toes start to pinch. I believe that this is due to the size being a bit smaller and narrower then true. Very comfortable at first, less comfortable over time. Was a bit disappointed in the shoe. The leather is very 'stiff and unforgiving'. The shoe also seems about 1/2 size smaller than the true size and a bit narrower. I bought 2 pair, kept 1 pair since I had worn them, but returned the other.
I purchased because I have a pair of sandals by Merrell and they are very light weight and comfortable. I love this shoe for several reasons, It is extremely light weight. I wear orthotics and am able to fit them in the shoe without removing the inner-sole. I get the benefit of the cushioning inner-sole, while other brands costing a lot more have to be removed. I love the fact that they lace closed more than most athletic shoes, which prevents the laces from digging into the top of my foot. I Love Pace Glove in Caribbean color, some say its Caribbean Sea ! They support my feet, while I feel like I'm walking on clouds.....I have already purchased a 2nd pair.
