These are great, lightweight shoes that fit
comfortably. I have AA->AAA feet, and these were the first
that fit the length and didn't bind completely together at A
good looking casual/dress shoe. Typical for Rockport, this
shoe weighs like a feather, and has the type of comfort you
can wear for hours and hours without notice. Felt perfect
from the moment I put it on. Pretty roomy, actually. I had
to double-check the size. Absolutely great for walking. I
only wish they'd bring back their traditional dress shoe
line in this 6.5W line--like their always perfect black cap
toe. I'm too old for square-toes, and the cap toe could pass
at a formal evening event for a Bostonian. Either way,
nobody does it better than Rockport. You can't go wrong with
nice laces. Quick delivery and handy return form - if
needed, which I didn't.
I have an 8.5 length foot. I am also cursed with a very,
very narrow foot and few manufacturers accommodate that
combination. Although I wish Rockport would make a narrow
8.5, I found this shoe was a good compromise. The styling is
excellent and the comfort is acceptable. Hey Rockport! Your
shoes are wonderful, make a narrow 8.5.
I have an A-B width foot and throughout the years have
bought very few shoes in my width. These shoes are great. My
doctor told me to buy longer shoes and I am glad I bought
these. I am a teacher and on my feet 80% of my day. The
Merrell (I bought two pairs, different colors) have provided
me with great support and seem to be well broken in, in just
two weeks.
I walk long distances daily and replace my walking shoes
frequently. The Rockport World Tour Classic walking shoes
proved to be a very pleasant surprise. These shoes provide
very good support while offering outstanding comfort from
the first walk. They are nice looking and suitable for any
casual wear. I bought a second pair of Pace Glove in Ivory
and change daily. I believe a good part of the comfort
afforded by these shoes comes from the lacing design. The
top of the foot feels little constriction from the laces
while the shoe remains firmly and stability in place. |
