I have always had trouble finding narrow
shoes that fit especially casual shoes because I wear a "B"
width and have a narrow heel. I ordered the Barefoot Pace
Glove in Lavender Lustre thinking I would probably end up
having to return them because they would be to wide but they
fit perfectly and are so comfortable. If you need a good
shoe with a true narrow fit, try these, you'll love them!
Living in a remote area where shopping is limited I found
Merrell to be a convenient source for footwear with hundreds
of choices. Additionally, the price was right and the
delivery time exceptional. My shoes felt good the first time
I wore them. They are used for casual dress.
I wore the shoe for the first time this morning and the left
shoe fits close across the top. The right fits OK. I'm
hoping that it will be "broken in" after today's wear. If
not, I doubt that I will be able to continue wearing it.
That would be a pity as the right foot is really comfortable
and exactly what I expected. This is the first time I'm
having this experience with a purchase from them. It won't
stop me from coming back.
This is the third pair of these shoes that I have bought. I
love them. They are comfortable. I live in a climate with
hot summers 96F today, though that is rare and very cold
(-25F), snowy winters, and these shoes are pretty much fine
in all weather. The rubber soles are a necessity here in the
winter, or in wet weather. If you keep the shoes shined,
they look fine for business casual dress. I like the
contrasting color leather collar, and the overall fit is
very comfortable on my feet.
Love the comfort of this shoe. It's well-cushioned and I've
been able to wear all day and walk miles in it from Day 1,
without any break-in or blisters. Also very sturdily built,
and perfect for walking on uneven, rough surfaces -- whether
gravel or cobblestones (old streets in Boston). Only major
con - some slipperiness walking on wet sidewalks and metal
grates following rainstorms (and this is something I've
found on lots of newer shoes). I'm hoping that as the soles
get a little wear on them, they'll grip better in wet
weather, but for now I'm needing to watch my step. |
