Enjoying Katia boots in Southern California
- I was a bit apprehensive about buying Merrell in LA,
despite our current "cold snap" of 40 degree weather. When
the boots first came I felt that they were a bit snug, but
after wearing them awhile my feet adjusted just perfectly! I
am disappointed that the leather seems to scuff easily, but
the smooth leather looks like it will wear better than the
pure suede. (My husband was afraid that wearing them without
socks would make the boots smell, but I just told him to
keep his nose out of my shoes.) Overall, I love the comfort
and the style, but I wonder how useful they will be once we
return to balmy 72 degree days. Maybe I need to move to
Colorado?
They are fantastic ~ Worth every dollar! They are not only
comfortable...but comforting to your feet. It's like wearing
cozy slippers outdoors. I wear them bare, with stockings or
socks...all is good. Neither snow nor rain, sleet or cold
will penetrate these bad boys. As far as appearances, well,
they look great teamed with black shearling, jeans jacket,
or leather coats ~ pants stuffed in, or over the boot ~
teamed with casual skirt or cropped pants. You just can't go
wrong. This is my second purchase from Zappos, and I am
becoming a big fan of both. Now a word about them: There's
hardly any need to shop anywhere else for hard to find shoes
and sizes. The staff is helpful and friendly, returns are
free and effortless. I wish more companies would follow
their model of excellent service to the consumer. It just
doesn't get much better!
Soft and sound comfort - The moment I slipped these boots on
I was happy. They are warm, sturdy, comfortable and handsome
too. I also like that they are not heavy, so I can wear them
all day. I work in retail and am on my feet for long
periods. The lambs wool inside the boot provides a good
cushion. It is not recommended to wear socks with these
boots and you don't need to. I like being barefoot in my
boots because it reminds me summer isn't far off! |

Katia Waterproof are the eye-catching and chic boots which
will give you stunning looks this winter. These boots have
very attractive upper which will make you stand out in huge
crowd. These boots also have the super comfortable and cozy
interior which will provide warm and toasty wearing

interior also has the 200 grams of Merrell Opti-Warm
synthetic insulation which is low bulk and lightweight. This
insulation enhances the ability of these boots to withstand
the blistering cold weather. The footbed has the Ortholite
anatomical treatment which makes them very comfortable and
soft. The excellent arch support is made from the nylon. The
midsole is made from the QForm Comfort EVA which ensures
that the delicate women feet get maximum comfort and it also
provides shocks absorption. The outsole is made from the
rubber which is sticky and durable. This outsole ensures
traction and grip on various types of surfaces. Its heel is
1 3/8 inches high with 13 ¼ inches high shaft and 16 ½
inches of circumference. It weighs 1 pound and 5 ounces. You
